This was my second time to Hong Kong and my first time to Shenzhen. As Indonesian passport holder, I was able to enter to Hong Kong for 30 days without visa and 5 days with visa on arrival – no need to obtain China visa on embassy. But actually, I was only 2 days 1 night in Shenzhen.
- It’s much better if you prepare everything before going to China – where everything is blocked, Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc. Don’t forget to download app for translating Mandarin alphabet as well – if you can’t read those letters.
- Since Shenzhen is located in mainland China, don’t be surprised if no one understand while you speak English. Jungle language applied.
- I bought two Apple items here, iPad mini 2 and beats headset. It’s true that buying Apple products in HK is cheaper, but the fact is Malaysia has the cheaper price – you can check and compare on Apple’s official website.
